MDF - What is it and why is it used? MDF is an engineered wood product made from wood
fibers mixed with resins. It offers excellent stability and durability and is a very good material
for painted finishes. MDF can also be an economical answer for complex door designs.
All MDF doors are special order and require an extended lead time.

MDF DOORS
Millennium Ovation, Infinity and Encore & Bravo doors are crafted with medium density fiberboard components. They will not
shrink or split and have no possibility of stile and rail separation. Choose from the layered panel Ovation door, the Infinity inlaid
molding door, the Bravo traditional doweled stile and rail door or the router carved Encore door. Millenium Ovation, Infinity and
Encore doors are available with a mirror option. Chalkboard and dry-erase options are available with the Ovation and Encore
doors. Create truly unique doors to compliment any architectural style.
The Millennium Collection
Karona stile and rail MDF doors are constructed using components made of MDF (medium density fiberboard) and are as-
sembled in a similar fashion as a standard interior door using dowel pins. Stile and rail construction allows for clean crisp corners
on panels and rails. Karana also offers the option of using wood edge strips on the outer and inner stile. Wood sticking is more
durable and less prone to damage.
